Businesses across many sectors we specialise in are saying they plan to increase headcount in 2025. This is encouraging for us at Quinn. There is optimism in the market and that optimism is based on reality. The market is telling us that 2025 is going to be a bounce back year. Interestingly many of the Insurance, Travel, Legal and Corporate companies planning to increase headcount are in the SME space.
Year in year out we find great people great jobs with great companies. We impact on people. We make a difference in people’s lives. We help people grow in their careers and we create opportunities for work. We assist companies grow and compete in an ever-changing world. What we do is intrinsically good. But good is never good enough. I always start each year asking – what can I do better? What can I do better for every client and every candidate?
The answer is quite simple. Never be complacent. Keep learning. Be open to change and most important of all – never lose sight of the human element of our business. AI has impacted on many aspects of recruitment, but I don’t believe it has yet mastered the craft of engaging with people, building trust and credibility and creating great outcomes. People still want to talk to another human. This is where our true value is. This is where our team at Quinn Recruitment make a difference.
